The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Telephoto Zoom lens is a dream come true for photographers and videographers looking to add versatility and range to their lens collection. This lens shows up twice on the Canon best selling lens list because the newer version, here, is Image Stabilized and has an STM motor. #5 – Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Prime Lens
The 50mm f/1.4 Prime is one of Canon’s best lenses for everyday photography. It’s light weight yet durable. You are able to capture excellent photos in low light situations with awesome bokeh. The only reason it’s not the #1 50mm lens (see #1 on our list) is the price. It’s about $200 more than the 50mm f1.8 lens sitting in the #1 position. But, for the price you get better opportunities in low light situations, and you are also getting a more solid lens overall. You won’t be disappointed at the versatility you can achieve with this lens. Learn More | Buy Now
#4 – Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS II Telephoto Zoom Lens
The Canon 55-250mm Image Stabilized Telephoto Zoom lens captures long distance and low light shots well. The high-zoom-ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). There will be some noise when focusing; it’s not totally quiet. If you need to catch a shot quickly, you may want to use the manual focus because the auto focus is a little slow. This is a winner of a lens, though, and is now discontinued and available for about half the price as when it was first introduced. Learn More | Buy Now
